Sometimes also called The Hunter’s Moon or The Harvest Moon, this is the Grandmother Moon under which you gather the seeds from the harvest you have sown in your life.

It is time for storing these seeds away until your are ready to plant them to flourish in the coming year.

This Moon Cycle ends at Samhain at the end of October, when the veils between the worlds are gossamer thin.

This is the time to remember and honour those we have loved who have passed through the veil.

SACRED IVY ENERGY ESSENCE

Ivy is associated with the Ogham Druidic Alphabet Letter of Gort, and the month of October. Ivy’s main theme is that of constriction vs freedom and growth, and resonates with the energy of Grandmother Spider and the theme of letting go and creating space.

Ivy has a fierce, determined feminine energy.

She connects with the search for the Self, for “inner wisdom”. Her wandering way of growing mirrors the wandering of the Soul desiring enlightenment.

Just as Ivy has the power to bind many trees together, so she can also restrict passage and ultimately smother and kill other Trees if left unchecked. She is a plant which requires support and yet also has the ability to link with others.

Ivy is also connected with immortality and eternal life, with revelry, and the magical power of the Faery Kingdom. It reminds us that clinging to just one tree, or one idea, or person is restricting and potentially damaging for both the host and the Ivy. If the host dies, then so does Ivy.

Working With The Truth

Weaves The Web represents the creative principle within all things. Her Moon Cycle falls in the month of October and is connected to the colour pink. She is The Guardian of the Creative Force in all things, and she teaches us how to create beauty and truth in tangible forms with our hands. She shows us how to work with arts and crafts to create our ideas and dreams in the physical world.

She is The Keeper of The life Force and instructs us how to create health and to access our spiritual potentials.

She is The Mother of the Creative and Destructive Principles, demonstrating how to destroy our limitations and to create anew.

She is also The Keeper of Survival Instinct, teaching us when to nurture our creations and how to grow beyond stagnation.

This lunar cycle welcomes in the Return of the Light with the Festival of Imbolc.

It is time to clear out anything that is lingering on from the cocooning of wintertime and to make preparation for the coming transformation. You may like to think of this as preparing the ground for the seeds of your Dreams ~ a time of planning and innovation.

~ MAGIC, INSPIRATION, PROTECTION ~

The Circle will celebrate the New Snow/Quickening Moon in The Cleansing Time of Earthwalk Otter (Aquarius), which then moves into The Blustery Winds Time of Wolf (Pisces) with Full Moon on 24th February.

On 20th January we moved out of the regenerative time of The Renewal Time into the Quickening energies of The Cleaning Time following the very first stirrings of new beginnings. We will be reflecting on the challenges, learnings and gifts offered by this time of this year.

February is informed by The Second Clan Mother, Wisdom Keeper. Her colour is non threatening grey and she is The Keeper of “honouring the Truth” and The Mother of Friendship.

This New Moon Ceremony will be supported by Rowan, the Sacred Druidic Plant of February. Rowan is associated with Luis (L) in the Ogham Tree Alphabet. Key words are magic, inspiration, quickening and protection.

Rowan supports our intuition and visions, enouraging us to be tenacious in our new endeavours.

The Circle will celebrate the New Wolf/Quiet Moon in The Renewal Time of Earthwalk Goose (Capricorn). This Moon is sometimes called The Wolf Moon. The Medicine of Wolf is that of Pathfinder, the one who leads the way forward for others.

On 22nd December we will be moving out of the the deeply introspective time of The Long Nights Time into the purity of The Renewal Time and the very first stirrings of new beginnings. We will be reflecting on the challenges, learnings and gifts offered by this time of this year.

Come to rest at this quiet point of mid-winter, reaping the benefit of your past experiences and taking the best of those forward with you to inform a future bright with possibilities.

In this still resting place, allow that life can unfold, guided by spirit/soul.

January is informed by The First Clan Mother, Talks With Relations. Her colour is orange and she is The Keeper of “learning the Truth”. She helps us to understand that our teachers are the Allies we find throughout the natural world. She encourages us to have a seeking mind and a willingness to learn.

We will be moving out of the the innovative, simulating energies of The Cleansing Time into the mystical, intuitive time of The Blustery Winds. This is an in-between time, with spring just around the corner. A time of purity and renewal, of wisdom and knowledge, plus awakening and illumination.

This is the last lunar cycle of true Winter; still a time to draw in, learn the lessons of the past, refine them within ~ and then burst forth into new life and direction, driven by the desire for knowledge and wisdom.

PRESENCE IN TRANQUILLITY HEALING JOURNEY MEDITATION:

In keeping with the energies of this time of year, I am offering my Presence In Tranquillity Meditation. This Meditation offers to carry you on a journey bringing you into connection with your Inner Being, that eternal part of you with many names, sometimes called Essence, sometimes called Soul.

The Meditation begins by guiding you to flow with the Moon Breath pattern of breathing, bringing you into harmony with the energy fields of both Mother Earth and Grandmother Moon. As this happens, you will move naturally into your own quiet centre, as well as recharging all the energy centres of your being.

Remember, every breath is a moment in time connecting you to what has gone before, to what is now and to what will be. Every breath is new. Every breath contains potential, the power of transformation. Every breath is change made manifest and yet creates continuum. Between each breath is a resting space of tranquillity. This is life. This is presence. This is creation. This is rebirth in action. This is unity and you are part of this unity.

Discovering a place of tranquillity within us is itself a treasure which can alter the nature of our own presence in the world. When we become present, we create space around us, we exist in eternal space. This is the seventh and final Meditation in the series of Tranquillity Meditations.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Each Recipient has their own dedicated Rose Quartz Heart (the Crystal of loving mother energy and gentle emotional release), through whom the New Moon Healing is delivered. The “team” now consists of 13, one for each of the 13 lunar cycles, so 13 corresponding places are being offered.

I appear on screen at the beginning to say hello and offer a little about working with Moon Energy and, specifically, with the energy of the The Grandmother Moon and Earth Wisdom energies of the month. I offer you space in which to release whatever is needful, to reflect on the month’s themes, and to offer gratitude for all you have received. In this quietness, space is created for something new to step..

I will invite you to make yourself comfortable to enjoy the Presence In Tranquillity Meditation whilst you receive the releasing New Moon Reiki Healing.

In order to keep your experience as personal and private as possible, all cameras and microphones will be kept turned off, and the session will be viewing and listening only. 

2. AN ALTERNATIVE TO ZOOM:

If you prefer, you may book your place to receive New Moon Healing, and I will make the Presence In Tranquillity Meditation available for you to download from my website.  You may then plan your own private Ceremony and still be part of the beautiful energy being generated. I will include you in the New Moon Crystal Healing part of the evening, which will commence at approximately 10.00 pm.

3. DEFERRED OPTION:

If you are unable to attend at the time of the Ceremony, you can still choose to be included in the New Moon Healing, and I then send you a recorded version of the evening for you to experience at a time which works for you. Several of my “regulars” have chosen this option in the past, and discovered that they still feel the full benefits of the Ceremony.

Retaining optimism and hope for a better and brighter future is not so easy on the dark days and yet the sun returns to shine and the sky to blue ~ and babies continue to be born, symbols of life calling to itself, special gifted souls needed for the times ahead of us.

Amidst everything around us, we have our own individual challenges to grow through ~ and the way forward can feel unclear in this new world. We are in a transitional time, and a time which may be full of growth. Awakening on a world wide scale is necessary. It is time to let go of what serves neither us nor our planet, and to find a better way for All. However, awakening begins inside each individual being…

AWAKENING ~ DISCOVERING A NEW WAY

Finding a different way requires the asking of new questions ~ it is the only way to discover new answers. In order to do that, sometimes we need to pay attention to what is hidden, to the unexpected. This may call upon a change in perspective, a recognition of what the challenges are, new learnings ~ and also the gifts offered.

• ☀️We can choose to walk through that door or opportunity or deny the lessons and challenges. However the wake up call will get louder and louder, our own spirit wishing to be heard... and we can continue to deny to our own cost...⁠
