About Different Cycles of Reiki Treatments
Everywhere you look in the natural world, you will find life flowing through cycles: the seasons, the lunar cycles, the monthly cycles of women, plants and trees, celestial movements and the lives of all creatures. We have weekly cycles, night and day ~ life, death and rebirth.
When we are on a journey of self-development and spiritual growth, the cycles we pass through can metamorphose into a beautiful spiral of evolution.
The Butterfly is a powerful symbol of cyclic change and its Medicine is Transformation. In order to become the Butterfly which takes flight, it has to pass through distinct stages of egg, caterpillar and chrysalis first. Each stage of the cycle has its own dedicated place and purpose.
In the same manner, each Cycle of Reiki has a dedicated aim, and each Treatment has a specific purpose and place. For example, the first Treatment shines a compassionate light on what consciously needs healing and brings calm.
The second Treatment goes a little deeper to remove unconscious and hidden blocks or obstructions to your happiness.
The third Treatment grounds and stabilises the work.
The fourth Treatment helps you to look forward to the best way ahead.
A fifth Treatment, if chosen, may bring about a special serenity or can be extra re-vitalising.
Q. How does one become the Butterly?
A. You must want to fly so much you are willing to give up being a Caterpillar…
(Wisdom Of The Flowers)
